Florida Republican Congressman and military veteran Mike Waltz went on to CNN with Jim Acosta where he was first asked by Acosta if he would join Republican Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene’s America First Caucus which was disbanded following pushback from both Republicans and Democrats.
Rep. Waltz stalled on the question and didn’t give a straight answer until he said, “I didn’t plan to join it at least as it was reported.” Acosta added that it was a good thing that the caucus wasn’t formed by the freshman representative.

When Acosta asked if Rep. Waltz had any plans to join the caucus he neglected the question and pinned the conversation on Democratic Congresswoman Maxine Waters (CA) who some say incited a riot. Rep. Waltz said, “I would hope you also have Democrats on and ask them if they agree with Maxine Water’s calling for more confrontation in Minneapolis as we speak.”
He went on, “I think we need to tone it down, the temperature and the rhetoric on all sides whether it’s on the left or the right we need to tone it down.”
Through all of this, Jim Acosta refused to even acknowledge what the Congressman said and continued to ask the question on whether or not he will have Democrats on and ask them if they support Maxine Waters for calling for more confrontation in Minneapolis.
As we previously reported, “You can see her in the video below talking to reporters and others. She says some reprehensible things as a sitting member of congress. “We are looking for a guilty verdict” she says of the Derek Chauvin trial going on right now. Chauvin is the former police officer accused of killing George Floyd.
“If we don’t [get a guilty verdict], we cannot go away” she says of people in the streets. “We gotta stay on the streets. We gotta get more active, we gotta get more confrontational” she goes on.
Some are calling for Waters to resign from congress. Others are calling for her to be arrested for “inciting”. We know if she was a Republican how things would go down but the right always plays the “what if” game instead of holding politicians accountable.
We think it’s tragic to see anyone die at the hands of police, whether it was a mistake, or whether the police did what they had to do in some cases. But many of these riots have turned violent. Many of them have ended up with stores being burned and people dying.”
Because of this, Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene announced she will soon be introducing a resolution to expel Maxine Waters from Congress. We reported earlier today, “U.S. House Rep Marjorie Taylor Greene responded to the news by announcing plans to take action against Waters for the inciting rhetoric.
“Very soon I’ll be introducing a resolution to expel @RepMaxineWaters from Congress for her continual incitement of violence on innocent American people,” Greene proposed in a tweet and insisted, “Rep Waters is a danger to our society.”
The Liberal double-standard on this issue has been clear as Democrats are silent when fellow Democrats say something out of line like that.
