Denver District Attorney Doug Richards announced that he will be dropping the murder charges against Matthew Dolloff, a 32-year-old security guard who shot and killed Lee Keltner, a 49-year-old Trump supporter, and Navy Veteran.
“Denver DA announced it will drop the murder charges against Matthew Dolloff, who shot & killed Lee Keltner on Oct 10, 2020 during “dueling” BLM & Trump rallies in downtown Denver, CO.”

Richard’s said, “I’m just really happy for Matt and his family that the DA finally realized what we’d known all along.” Meanwhile, Carolyn Tyler, a spokesman, said, “In line with our ethical obligations, we cannot overcome the legal justifications of self-defense or defense of others. We are not able to prove guilt beyond a reasonable doubt.”
As we previously reported, “Michelle Malkin is speaking out against the Denver Police today after a Trump supporter was killed last night during ‘opposing rallies’. NBC affiliate Denver News 9’s hired security contractor was the alleged Antifa member who shot and killed a man who appeared to be deploying mace in photos.
Malkin has previously had a history with the Denver Police’s apparent left-leaning bias when it appeared as though they stood down when violent Antifa and BLM activists crashed a ‘back the blue’ event she attended earlier this year. We covered a story on that about how the Denver Police Union President apologized to Malkin, admitting there was a stand-down order, but that he couldn’t say who gave it, although he knew.
‘The @denverpolice LIED & covered up for Antifa! No surprise to those of us attacked last month at #Backtheblue after department led by BLM-loving police chief Paul Pazen issued stand down order so mob could shut patriots down. #AnarchoTyranny‘ “
Even after the shooting took place, Denver News 9 continued to tweet out news stories as we reported on. In addition to this, a CBS News reporter reported that this man wasn’t an active licensed security guard. Denver News 9 contracted Matthew Dolloff through the company Pinkerton however, Pinkerton claimed that Dolloff didn’t work for them.
Michelle Malkin, an America First ”disruptor” and political trailblazer, took to Twitter to express her disgust with the District Attorney’s decision to drop the murder charges.
“It is an atrocity that the Denver DA has dropped murder charges against Matthew Dolloff, who assassinated patriot Lee Keltner. EVERY Colorado Republican, independent, 2A supporter & self-respecting law enforcement officer should be demanding the DA’s recall. The DA is now a party to the media-political assassination of Lee Keltner.”

The Denver Post reported, “The fatal encounter, which was captured by a Denver Post photographer, began when Keltner told the producer to put the camera away and said he was going to ‘(expletive) him up.‘
Dolloff stepped between the two and physically blocked Keltner, who was holding a can of bear spray. Keltner slapped Dolloff in the face. Dolloff pulled a gun from his belt and shot Keltner as Keltner discharged the bear spray.“
Some may speculate, on if there was any precedent considered from the Rittenhouse trial, despite the major differences in our view.
