U.S. House Rep Dan Crenshaw (R-TX) has been destroying his reputation as a so-called Republican for some time now. He has proposed ‘Red Flag’ gun confiscation laws. He has turned on former President Trump when he needed support the most. He has even supported and voted for the removal of confederate monuments, right along with Democrat House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (CA).
Because he has lots of money to spend on social media videos and an iconic look (cool eye patch) along with his history of being a veteran, many Republicans continue to be fooled by Dan. They either haven’t heard about the bad things he’s done, or they choose to look the other way whenever the RINO exposes his hand.
Now, Crenshaw is taking the wrong stance in the eyes of many on both sides, against pulling out of Afghanistan, possibly because he’s pro-war, or simply wants to “own the libs” by taking the opposite stance, or maybe both. But Crenshaw has a history of being pro-war, even when it meant going against former President Trump, for wanting to pull troops when he was in charge as well. So this isn’t just a Joe Biden thing.
We previously reported about what he said when Trump was still in charge:
U.S. Congressman Dan Crenshaw (R-TX) has recently come out with what I and most Americans see as an ignorant statement. After hearing the news of President Trump keeping his campaign promise of bringing our troops home from these endless and costly wars in the middle east he said it won’t be good for “American security”.
Now, Crenshaw speaks on behalf of the Young Americans for Freedom, the group that tried to cancel Filipino American conservative Michelle Malkin for supporting Nick Fuentes on Twitter. He is claiming that leaving Afghanistan after an entire generation is a bad idea. But it’s a lot of Republicans who took to Twitter to criticize him:
Pulling out of Afghanistan was a terrible idea.

He's a loser who wants to build an empire of conquered nations across the Middle East at the behest of America last neocons.

Some compared him to the late U.S. Senator John McCain:

Many called him a “Neocon”:
Neocons are gonna Neocon.

Some criticized YAF directly:
Every YAF chapter member can feel free to go fight over there if they want to then.

Invading Afghanistan and staying 20 years was a terrible idea, actually. https://t.co/lX6S5B3nh6

Ever heard of an immigration moratorium, Dan? Stricter immigration policies would have prevented the 9/11 hijackers from getting here in the first place. https://t.co/tYrFU05Tup

NewsMax’s Steve Cortes tweeted:
“Perhaps it’ll only take another 20 years, 2300 more American lives, and another $1 trillion — maybe then the Afghans will suddenly decide they’re a Western republic??? Thank God for Pres Trump ending these quagmire wars.”

Thank God for Pres Trump ending these quagmire wars. https://t.co/SnQEddzbhY
Perhaps Crenshaw can’t read the room, or perhaps he thinks he has enough money that he doesn’t have to. Sooner or later his political ideas will be in the trash heap of history though.
