Conservative Commentator Liz Wheeler tweeted out a long Twitter thread Monday in which she explained why she doesn’t plan on getting vaccinated anytime soon.
She first argued, “Why would I? I’m extremely low-risk for covid fatality & I already had covid.”

She then questioned the effectiveness of the shots and then wrote, “The short-term side effects of the shot? No thanks. The long-term side effects, especially for people like me with autoimmune issues? We don’t know!”

She continued to make various amounts of arguments against vaccination as you can see below:
You can tell me I’m selfish. I’m not. See tweet #2. It’s a purely personal medical decision. 6/

You can force me to disclose my vaccination status… But you’re a jerk if you do. Why should I be required to disclose to YOU my other health considerations that impact this decision? 8/

The obsession with this vaccine is insane. 10/

Oh yes, you can tell me we have a history of vaccine mandates in our country & SCOTUS upheld their legality in 1905. Funny how talking heads who parrot that line forget to tell you about the ACTUAL history of vaccine mandates in the U.S… 12/

So yeah, vaccine mandates have precedent in our country… but do we want to repeat a grotesque part of our history that should be rejected on the grounds that it’s not only tyrannical but racist? 14/

She concluded the thread writing, “Last thought: I know many, many Americans agree with me, I don’t think it’s anyone’s business whether you’re vaccinated or unvaccinated, or any personal medical decision you make. I’m not going to get the vaccine, ever, but it’s insane that we’re having this conversation.”

As we previously reported, “We previously reported that Liz Wheeler is in talks to possibly become part of the left-leaning show ‘The View’. We would think that if she does, she will stay true to her values and beliefs. In our earlier story, we reported that she may have to get vaccinated which could block her from getting on if she does not comply.
It’s hard to say for sure how that will go. Some may have speculated that an issue like that may be a dealbreaker for Wheeler, but she recently retweeted a New York Post report: ‘Liz Wheeler is Meghan McCain’s top pick to replace her at ‘The View’.’
We assume this means Wheeler wants the position and will do what is needed to get it, in our speculation anyway. Only time will tell for sure how it pans out in the end. Even though we disagree with almost all that is said on ‘The View’, it’s interesting to follow what they do anyway, since they like to have their version of what Juan Williams used to be to Fox News’ “The Five” to mix things up politically.“
With Wheeler seeming like she will never get vaccinated, it appears she will not be joining “The View” as the show has mandated the vaccine for all of its co-hosts. The Liberal dominated show has been known to push liberal ideology and Wheeler would be a fresh voice on the set.
We will have to see if “The View” is willing to accommodate her or if they will, more likely, continue their search for someone who is vaccinated and boosted.
