Andy Biggs Supports Special Counsel into the Bidens, ‘No One is Above the Law’

Republican Congressman Andy Biggs (R-AZ) is calling for a special counsel investigation into the Biden family concerning Joe Biden and his son’s foreign business deals. You can see his tweet below.

“There should absolutely be a special counsel to investigate the Bidens and their alleged corruption over the years. I was the first Member of Congress to call for a special counsel earlier this year. The American people deserve justice & accountability. No one – not even a Biden – is above the law”

He went on to say that “not even a Biden is above the law”. There have been multiple developments regarding his son Hunter Biden as it was discovered last week there is a Federal investigation into Hunter Biden’s tax affairs.

Hunter Biden was the center of the last presidential debate as news about his possible corrupt foreign business deals resurfaced but it may have been too little too late for President Trump. The president did try to hit home on the issue while on the campaign trail but it didn’t seem to work as well as many would have hoped.

If Biden does enter office come January there could be a special counsel investigation into his family like there was with the president for most of his term. It is unlikely this will do anything but send a message to the Biden family that many believe there was corruption, but perhaps there will be a surprise and some accountability.

Once Biden does become president if things go the right way for him, he may be able to cover up possible evidence as he will have more power. It would also be unlikely he would be impeached as the House is Democratic-controlled and there would need to be evidence of wrongdoing.

Earlier we reported that Trump might be pushing for a special counsel into Hunter Biden and the election in part:

It is being reported that President Trump is still strategizing his next moves. Despite the recent electoral votes for Biden, President Trump has still not conceded the 2020 election, even though Senate Majority leader Mitch McConnell has done so by acknowledging the ‘Biden/Harris’ administration as we reported recently.

It is now being reported, that with a new Attorney General and Deputy Attorney General coming in, (Jeff Rosen and Richard Donoghue), President Trump has been discussing special counsel pushes with White House Chief of staff Mark Meadows and impeachment defense attorney Pat Cipollone.
