Bad News for Democrats as Entire Party Staff Quits After Socialists Take Over in Nevada

All of the staff for the Nevada Democrat Party have quit following Democratic Socialists taking over all of the leadership positions including Chair of the party in Nevada. Below is the tweet.

Saturday Judith Whitmer won the seat of Chair for the Nevada Democratic Party which led to the party’s executive director, Alana Mounce emailing her that she and all other employees were quitting.

The Democratic Socialists were able to take all five seats in the Nevada Democratic Party leadership causing anger from the liberal and moderate Democrats.

Mounce argued that she would have been fired anyway but Whitmer denied that claim and mentioned their ability to out-organize the liberal wing of the party saying,  “What they just didn’t expect is that we got better and better at organizing and out-organizing them at every turn.”

The fighting between the progressive and liberal branches of the Democratic Party is nothing new as this has been going on since Senator Bernie Sanders (I-VT) ran for president in 2016 and 2020 which made progressives feel like he was cheated out of the nomination both times.

Now chaos has broken out with the Nevada Democratic Party as the organization is in shambles with all of their staff quitting and needing to practically rebuild the party and hire all new staff.

This comes at a bad time as Nevada Senator Catherine Cortez Masto (D) is up for re-election in 2022. Many are predicting a red wave midterm which might put her seat in jeopardy with the Nevada Democratic Party being torn up.

The Nevada GOP must find the right candidate to win the seat as there has been no better time than now to flip this seat. On the other hand, the Democratic Party of Nevada must figure out how to move forward united or a Republican will win the seat come November of 2022.

If one thing is for sure, both parties are experiencing ideological civil wars between the establishment and the anti-establishment wings of the parties.
