Biden Didn’t Want to ‘Engage’ When Questioned on Catholic Bishops Trying to Deny Him Communion for His Support for Abortion

Joe Biden didn’t want to engage when asked about the push from faithful Catholic Bishops to deny him communion due to his support for abortion.

“President Biden did not want to engage when asked about the issue being pushed by some Catholic bishops to deny him communion for his support on abortion rights.”

This comes as the U.S Conference of Catholic Bishops voted 168-55 to start a process that could deny politicians who support abortion like Joe Biden from receiving communion as NPR reported. Catholic Church teaching is explicitly against abortion as it sees the act as nothing less than the murder of an innocent baby.

With Joe Biden being only the second Catholic president besides JFK, some are calling into question whether he should be able to receive the eucharist due to his pro-choice stance. Biden calls himself a “faithful” Catholic however he goes against church teaching on issues like abortion and LGBT rights.

Not only would he not be able to receive communion, but pro-choice Catholics like Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) would also be denied communion. This comes as the Pope and Joe Biden are set to meet soon as this may be a topic of discussion.

It is no surprise that Joe Biden doesn’t want to talk about this as it highlights a big flaw in his so-called “faith” as he calls himself a Catholic yet goes against its teaching in multiple areas. When pressed about this, he usually dodges the honest question.
