Black Lives Matter Protest in Manhattan Appears to End After Car Hits at Least Six People

This afternoon Black Lives Matter supporters gathered in the streets of Manhattan where they began to protest. Later a car came and hit at least six people protesting and we are unclear what injuries they have. Below you can see some of the footage on Twitter.

This caused the protest to end abruptly and the NYPD are suggesting to avoid the area “due to a vehicle collision involving multiple pedestrians”. There has been a possible suspect arrested after the incident and she was yelled at as police put her in the cop car.

With the protest being non-violent there seem to be lots of anger and emotions as some see the victims as innocent but we haven’t yet heard the side of the suspect arrested for hitting the people. 

Some could say they shouldn’t be protesting in the street with traffic and that large groups of people shouldn’t gather because of COVID-19, however, it doesn’t seem to warrant the result of the women driving the car. BLM “protests” often end in violence sadly, although we don’t promote violence of any kind at Media Right News. 

We will have to see what comes once an investigation is underway and we hear from both sides. Retaliation from BLM or ANTIFA at the “March for Trump” rally tomorrow in Washington would certainly not be a good thing, as things seem to be heating up with that, but we certainly hope things remain peaceful on that front.
