Brian Stelter Melts Down After Comments by AZ AG Brnovich on Fox News Claiming ‘Mom and Pop’ Could be ‘Sent to Gitmo’ for School Board Dissent

Recently, CNN’s Brian Stelter quote tweeted a video clip from “The Recount” with Arizona’s Attorney General speaking to Fox News’ Harris Faulker. In the clip, AG Mark Brnovich mentions how parents speaking against Critical Race Theory is a first amendment right.

He elaborates further, saying that parents don’t become “domestic terrorists” for telling school boards how they feel. “If we allow the Biden Administration to continue this, God forbid, you’re going to end up with Mom and Pop at Gitmo. Think about how outrageous that is Harris, to think about.” Harris responded: “That is outrageous, could that really happen?”

Brnovich: “We are living in a time where we all need to make sure that we are protecting our constitutional rights on every single level, from the local school board levels to the state, on every single level”. At first, Harris Faulker seemed shocked at Brnovich’s “Mom and Pop’ claim, but towards the end, she gave it a little more credibility, which is what may have set off Stelter.

Faulkner: “That’s interesting because you say one leads to the other, that sounds like a slippery slope”. Stelter is outraged that this conversation took place. He thinks it’s not reality. But there are January 6th protesters in a D.C. jail as we speak, allegedly being denied due process. So while Brnovich’s claims may be out there, it’s not really that hard to believe in our personal opinion.

In regard to January 6th, we are against all illegal activity here at Media Right News, but people all still deserve due process. Stelter tweeted:

“Appropriate response from an anchor would be “That’s not true” or “You clearly don’t know anything about Gitmo.”

AG Brnovich has gotten a lukewarm reception from Republicans in Arizona and around the nation. Many see him as a tough guy with tough rhetoric. But many others want more from him such as Arizona State Senator Wendy Rogers who is calling for “perp walks” for people responsible for election irregularities found in the forensic audit done with the 2020 election in Maricopa County.

Only time will tell what comes of that, or if AG Merrick Garland is held to account before this labeling of angry parents as “domestic terrorists” stuff goes way too far. Already we saw an angry Father in Loudoun County get arrested, and then later we found out his daughter was raped in the girl’s room by a boy and the school attempted to cover it up. This wasn’t a CRT complaint but the man was arrested at an event where parents were indeed speaking out about CRT along with transgender bathroom rules.
