Political analyst and neoconservative Bill Kristol had some what of a meltdown on Twitter this evening. Following the news of the U.S. withdrawing troops from Iraq and Afghanistan and the firing of Chris Krebs he said he was “alarmed”.
He Tweeted, “From the Wayne County Board of Canvassers to the firing of Chris Krebs, to the DOD announcement about drawing down troops–I’m going to say it: I AM ALARMED.”
However, it is now reported that Wayne County has now certified its results following a compromise from the Republicans and Democrats.
The compromise includes an audit of all ballots in the county.
The Never Trump Republican who is known for his support of U.S. intervention seems upset with the President keeping his campaign promise of bringing our brave men and women in the middle east home.
If Biden goes into office the military presence will most likely go back to where it was during the Obama administration.
Even though in October of 2012 Biden said, “We will leave in 2014.” (talking about Afghanistan)
Neocons and Democrats seem to be united against the President as the Democrats want their party in control and the Neocons want to take back the Republican Party.
