It appears that Johnny Depp’s lawyer has dropped Kanye West as a client after Kanye doubled down on his controversial remarks this weekend.
According to TMZ Camille informed her firm she would no longer work with the artist. Brown Rudnick the firm Camille works for was more forgiving and attempted to keep West as a client if only he publicly retracted his words. West refused to do so and so Brown Rudnick parted ways with him.
It was only this last week that the news broke that Vasquez was representing West in his business matters.
So far it seems Adidas is one of the last remaining partners who have yet to denounce West and end their partnership.
We initially reported on the now-dissolved relationship with:
“TMZ has reported, “Camille will be among a group of attorneys representing Kanye’s business interests — contracts, deals, the works.”
“They will not be representing him in his divorce from Kim Kardashian. For that, he has hired Melinda Gates’s divorce attorney, Bob Cohen to represent him. They are set to go to trial unless they can come to an agreement by December.”
“Kanye has been making headlines left and right. He stirred up controversy by wearing a shirt that read ‘White Lives Matter’ at a Yeezy fashion show.”
It was only a few days since the relationship had been public. It seems the move now is to cancel West for his congressional commentary.
