Candace Owens Says ‘Irony’ of Coverage of ‘Let’s Go Brandon’ Phone Call is That Phrase is a ‘Referendum’ on the MSM

Candace Owens appeared last night on Fox News’ “Tucker Carlson Tonight” and said that the “irony” of the coverage of the “Let’s go Brandon” phone call is that it is a “referendum” on the mainstream media.

As we have reported in multiple different articles, many mainstream media outlets have come up with completely unhinged ways to describe what transpired.

“The irony of the coverage about this is that “Let’s go Brandon” the chant arose because America feeling that it was a referendum on the mainstream media, the mainstream media constantly lying about Americans,” Owens began.

Owens explained, “So in response to this, you have the mainstream media who is going after this man and completely lying about him and what the chant represents, trying to make it something more sinister and vile than it is.”

“In reality, it’s just America saying, ‘The mainstream media lies and we don’t like this president,'” Owens asserted.

The explanation by Owens is similar to the one given by Jared Schmeck yesterday on Steve Bannon’s “War Room” where he said it was more than just saying “F Biden.”

Owens then wondered who are the media lying for and suggested that the media are angry because they still don’t have control of the American people, even though Donald Trump is no longer the president.

As we reported earlier, MSNBC’s Nicole Wallace said of the phone call and Schmeck:

“Let me tell you why this matters. Asymmetry has always been what advantages the Trump right more than anything else and the asymmetry of saying ‘F you’ to a sitting president on a call in front of your four kids.”

“Don’t look past this, don’t look at this as a story of giving air time to a MAGA guy, who goes on Steve Bannon’s podcast and says, ‘I wasn’t joking, not only did I say F you Mr. President, I said more than that.’”

“This is the slow-motion insurrection Jason, in, in, full color.”
