Political activist Candace Owens is creating a new perspective for parents who are frustrated with “woke” liberal policies in schools such as critical race theory, sex ed that goes beyond the norm or is unapproved by parents, and other things. In a recent tweet, Owens suggested parents could potentially call the authorities and have teachers arrested for showing sex-ed materials that may contain pornographic pictures.
We aren’t legal experts but if this holds water this could potentially be one way for conservative parents to stand up to the public school systems in addition to joining school boards and speaking out. Many don’t have the money to send their kids to private school or the time to homeschool their kids, despite being told to just pull their kids from public school by some right-wing pundits, as if it’s an easy thing to do.
Owens tweeted out:

Many school systems have been taken over by left-wing school board members, even in red states where some might not expect it. Red states often have complacent residents, voters, and/or parents who don’t want to or don’t feel like joining school boards. This in addition to the media being mostly controlled by, in our view, left-leaning people, and colleges pushing certain agendas, makes it hard for conservatives to exists almost, or to be represented.
Owens is trying to be creative, and to be a voice for those who feel like they don’t have one is a time that things are scary for traditional Americans, Christians, and Conservatives. Owens has been a strong supporter of former President Donald Trump. She also seems to be supportive of him potentially running again. She has jokingly (or not?) suggested she be considered as a running mate for him in 2024 as we previously reported in part:
Candace asked if the former president would run again in 2024 and jokingly asked if she could be his running-mate as she has suggested in the past she is thinking about running for president.
When Trump was asked if he would run in 2024 he responded saying, “The answer is I’m absolutely enthused. I look forward to doing an announcement at the right time.”
He went on, “As you know, it’s very early. But I think people are going to be very, very happy when I make a certain announcement,”. Many could hear this and rightfully conclude he is definitely going to run in 2024 as he mentions how people will be “very very happy” with the decision.
Time will tell if Owens’ idea to call police on teachers pans out or if she runs for higher office. One thing is for sure, she isn’t going away with her opinions, no matter how controversial.
