It was reported yesterday that Cathy Areu had filed a lawsuit against Fox News and Tucker Carlson among others in New York Federal Court. The alleged misconduct reported by Carlson occurred in December of 2018 and it has been uncovered that she tweeted out in October of 2019 that Carlson had “always been polite” to her.
She tweeted this several months after she was supposedly sexually harassed. Forgot to delete it before filing the lawsuit. Oops! https://t.co/uku1LqATDS

The tweet was a response on a threat that started with the Women’s Liberation Front Twitter profile. The original tweet called an appearance by attorney Kara Dansky on his show “going into the lion’s den.” A Trump supporter had responded and tagged Areu while saying she was disappointed with those criticizing Carlson.
I'm so disappointed by these neg comments.@TuckerCarlson ALWAYS shows guests respect.@AreuCathy is LOVED & RESPECTED & While we may not agree w/all her views, that does NOT diminish how we feel about HER! Geez, you folks on left don't seem to get that MANY of us WERE YOU!

More questions have been raised according to reporter, Amber Athey, as “Areu’s lawyer admitted they got the dates wrong. Now he says the alleged incident occurred before the Tucker Carlson Tonight Christmas party. But Tucker’s wife attended that party.”
I’ve done more reporting on the Fox News lawsuit since last night’s thread. Areu’s lawyer admitted they got the dates wrong. Now he says the alleged incident occurred before the Tucker Carlson Tonight Christmas party. But Tucker’s wife attended that partyhttps://t.co/5TRnWAp3Fw
