Chris Wallace’s Credibility Dealt Another Major Blow after ‘Fox News Sunday’ Ratings Increase after His Departure

Chris Wallace’s reputation was hit with another blow as the ”Fox News Sunday” ratings have increased following his departure from the outlet.

Following Chris Wallace’s departure from Fox News, his former show “Fox News Sunday” saw its highest ratings among those 25-54 since January 24, 2021, during its January 23rd show. Right-leaning anchor Shannon Bream hosted the show who is much more friendly to former President Donald Trump than Chris Wallace is.

Many used to view Wallace as a fair and balanced anchor however many Trump supporters believed he favored Joe Biden during the presidential debate in the fall of 2020. Some believe that Wallace is showing his true colors by joining the notoriously left-wing news outlet, CNN.

Nielsen Media Research reported that the January 23rd episode of “Fox News Sunday” saw a 27% increase in ratings among those 25-54 and overall, a 21% increase in viewers from Wallace’s last show on December 12, 2021.

While some believed that Wallace’s departure from the popular news outlet was a significant loss, ratings are increasing with him gone. We will have to see how he fairs with CNN but, Fox News is certainly not suffering.

Some actually predicted that Chris Wallace was better suited for CNN longer before it actually happened.
