Chuck Schumer Declares Nancy Pelosi is ‘in Trouble’, Believes Dems are Likely to Lose the House

Senate Majority Leader Chuch Schumer (D-NY) and six other Democrat senators were recently at a dinner. The restaurant was Trattoria Alberto, an Italian place in Washington D.C. Schumer was overheard saying Pelosi will likely lose the House to the Republicans.

The other senators at the dinner were Chris Coons (D-DE), Mark Kelly (D-AZ), Chris Van Hollen (D-MD), Tom Carper (D-DE), John Hickenlooper (D-CO), and Dick Durbin (D-IL).

Schumer also expressed to the group that come November, he has confidence that Democrats will retain the majority in the Senate but that Republicans have a 60% chance of taking back the House.

According to Fox News, Schumer discussed a myriad of topics. He believes that Trump will run again in 2024 and argued that Republican minority leader Kevin McCarthy “sucked up” to former President Donald Trump.

Pelosi, it has been rumored, has requested to become ambassador to Italy, and it seems likely that Joe Biden will oblige her. She had already agreed with the progressives in her party such as AOC, that she wouldn’t see to be Speaker of the House again.

Races in which Democrats were leading by good margins have become a lot closer with the rhetoric and actions of the Biden administration. The midterms are fastly approaching and we will see soon how it all plays out.

Republican Mitch McConnell seems to have given up on getting the senate back.
