CNN Fact Checks Biden’s False Recollection of Visiting Tree of Life Synagogue After Mass Shooting in 2018

CNN fact-checked Joe Biden’s claim that he visited the Tree of Life Synagogue after a shooting there left 11 people dead in 2018.

Biden said, “And [hate has] been given too much oxygen in the last four, five, seven, 10 years, and it has seen itself, whether it was — I remember spending time at the — you know, going to the — you know, the Tree of Life synagogue, speaking with the — just — it just is amazing these things are happening, happening in America.”

However, Biden never showed up to the Synagogue but it was instead former President Donald Trump who visited the synagogue three days after the shooting. CNN contributor Daniel Dale said, “The executive director of the Tree of Life Synagogue told the New York Post that Biden had not actually visited.”

He continued, “CNN reached out to the White House about this and so far they have not been willing to comment.” Some on the right may find it strange that the far-left media outlet of CNN is fact-checking Biden but either way it is no the best look for Biden to be exposed in lying about visiting the Synagogue.
