Conan O’Brien on Easter: ‘Trump Says Jesus Could Have Avoided Crucifixion by Taking Hydroxychloroquine’

As we reported earlier, many in the media are trying to downplay the drug, Hydroxychloroquine. Conan O’Brien took it a step further with a joke on Easter that said, “Trump says Jesus could have avoided crucifixion by taking” the drug.

Trump says Jesus could have avoided crucifixion by taking hydroxychloroquine.

One response read, “The final dagger in your career. Good luck.”

Verified Twitter user and Catholic Ryan James Girdusky said, “Joan Rivers was right, you getting fired from The Tonight Show saved everyone from having to learn you’re not funny.”

Before his Jesus joke, O’Brien had joked about alcoholism in regards to the pandemic.

Can we all agree to temporarily raise the bar for what’s considered an “alcoholic?”

O’Brien has been doing his show from home so perhaps the isolation is getting to him but whatever the case may be, he is clearly lowering the bar for comedians.
