Florida GOP Gov. Ron DeSantis today fired back at Joe Biden, noting that he didn’t act after 53 migrants previously died in a tractor-trailer in Texas.
Biden was critical after DeSantis sent 50 illegal aliens to Martha’s Vineyard on a plane this week, which created an uproar.
“Instead of working with us on solutions, Republicans are playing politics with human beings, using them as props,” Biden claimed.
Biden also suggested that “What they’re doing is simply wrong. It’s unAmerican, it’s reckless and we have a process in place to manage migrants at the border.”
In a clip shared by Breaking911, DeSantis declared at a press conference yesterday, “The president didn’t scramble to get his cabinet together when we had…53 migrants die in some trailer in Texas.”
“It’s only when you have 50 illegal aliens end up in very wealthy, rich enclave that [Biden] decides to scramble on this,” DeSantis noted.

DeSantis also vowed that “There may be more flights, there may be buses” at the press conference, a sign that he isn’t backing down.
White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre invoked slavery as she described her thoughts on the situation.
“These were children. They were moms. They were fleeing communism.”
“And what did Governor DeSantis and Governor Abbott do to them?”
“They used them as political pawns, treated them like chattel.”
