The New York Post outlines many people here who have not been able to get out of Afghanistan, many of which are Americans. We understand there may be various reasons why they can’t leave and that Biden’s claim here is strictly in regards to safe passage to the airport it appears. Still, it seems somewhat confusing and disingenuous to us. Many are saying it’s not true.

Whether Biden is right, wrong, or somewhere in between, there’s no doubt the pullout from Afghanistan, while necessary, was done all wrong.
Time will tell what the full backlash ends up causing for the Biden administration. Vice President Kamala Harris appeared unhappy at the press conference from today, but it’s hard to tell for sure with her mask on exactly what her expressions are while Biden spoke.
