Despite Utterly Failing to Secure the Border, Mayorkas Warns of ‘Emerging Domestic Violence Threat’ Ahead of Election Season

On the 21st anniversary of the 9/11/2001 attack on American soil DHS secretary, Alejandro Mayorkas gave an interview to MSNBC’s Jonathan Capehart. During the interview and reflection on 9/11, Mayorkas took the time to highlight what he calls an “emerging domestic violence threat”.

Reflecting on 9/11 Mayorkas said, “Back when 9/11 occurred, in those years we were very focused on the foreign terrorist, the individual who sought to do a severe harm to enter the United States and do us harm.”

He then progressed forward in time, “It’s then evolved, we began to be more and more concerned about the individuals already resident in the United States radicalized by a foreign terrorist ideology.”

He then got to what he and the Biden administration see as a threat to democracy now, “Now we are seeing an emerging threat … over the last several years of the domestic violent extremist. The individual here in the United States radicalized to violence by a foreign terrorist ideology, but also an ideology of hate, anti-government sentiment, false narratives propagated on online platforms, even personal grievances.”

This messaging follows the more recent talking points from The White House. Biden’s speech delivered in Philadelphia, PA, left many on the right uneasy and uncomfortable with the manner in which as well as what the president shared with the nation.

Biden called many on the right a threat to democracy, and despite formerly campaigning on being a unifier, his words were not kind and were very divisive. They may have been used in an attempt to motivate Democrats to get out and vote against “MAGA” messaging and Trump, who isn’t running in this midterm. He has endorsed many Republicans however, and is going to likely decide on a 2024 run based on the mid-terms.

The left’s rhetoric may have backfired however, and we will see soon. The midterms are quickly approaching and less than two months away.

Mayorkas, as well as everyone else in the Biden Administration continues to ignore the mostly open border and tries to declare that it is secure, however, millions have crossed the border illegally since Biden took office less than two years ago.

Many view Biden’s blatant attempt to ignore the problems at our border while attacking those of us at home as a huge slap in the face. It seems there are no places to deal with the invasion at the southern border.

Texas cities as well as the governor of Texas have started distributing illegals throughout the country to different Democrat sanctuary cities as there is no end in sight to the onslaught of bodies crossing the border. Not only bodies but a flood of illegal drugs are also coming across the “secure” border.
