Diamond and Silk Tweet that Rittenhouse Should Sue Many Including Joy Reid, First

In a tweet today, Pro-Trump activists Diamond and Silk called for Kyle Rittenhouse to “Sue them all” and to start will “Joy Reid of MSNBC!”

Joy Reid, host of MSNBC show “ReidOut,” has continually attacked Rittenhouse.

After Rittenhouse took the stand in his own defense, and at one point broke down on the stand. Reid took to TicTok to mock Rittenhouse and Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh and their “male white tears”. She promoted the ReidOut piece about “male white tears” after mocking Rittenhouse.

Brigitte Gabriel also expressed the same sentiment as Diamond and Silk sharing, “Joy Reid should get out her checkbook now, because Kyle Rittenhouse is going to sue her big time!”

With a full acquittal on all charges, Reid continued with her usual rhetoric, not surprising anyone. Tonight she started with, “This is what we expected to happen. We’re watching the criminal justice system at work it was designed to do exactly what it did today. Gun laws helped to enhance the design to allow this verdict to happen today. This country was built on the idea of white men had a particular kind of freedom that only they have. Particular kind of freedom and a particular kind of citizenship only they have [white men].”

Reid continued, “That gives, you know from the slave catchers on, the right to inflict violence, um in the name of protecting property. That’s like the foundational creation of the United States. So it would have been shocking, I’m glad you mentioned the Derick Chauvin verdict, that was the surprising verdict. This should have been unsurprising. I do think we have to think about is not only the families of the two men who died and the family of Mr. Grosskreutz, they should be in our minds right now. Because they suffered and other have been a lot of White people you know who have defended Black lives and paid for it with their lives, that goes all thought-out our history, goes back to John Brown”

It doesn’t look like Reid will be apologizing for her characterizations of Rittenhouse. We will see what suits if any Rittenhouse decided to take up in the coming weeks and months. Many people including the President of the United States were quick to characterize Rittenhouse for their own benefit.
