Cuomo’s attorney, Rita Glavin, went after James for allegedly “selectively” redacting certain information in the sexual harassment report. Cuomo tweeted out on his personal Twitter feed about the complaint.
“Governor Cuomo to File Ethics Complaint w NYS Bar Attorney Grievance Committee for Misconduct Against Tish James Joon Kim & Anne Clarke Glavin: Submissions Will be Made to Relevant DAs Surrounding Cases of Perjury & Witness Tampering, including, but not limited to Lindsey Boylan”

Glavin said, “What she has done and all she has done is she has publicly dismissed our complaints.” He continued, “(Cuomo) feels strongly that there was misconduct here, that the attorney general misused her office.”
A spokesperson for Attorney General James fired back saying Cuomo is “hiding behind his campaign lawyer and falsely crying ‘witch hunt’.” The Spokesperson continued, “If he thinks he has a real legal case, he should go ahead and file it. These attacks are disgraceful and yet another desperate charade to mask the truth: Andrew Cuomo is a serial sexual harasser.”
Although Cuomo has continued to deny the allegations, he still resigned from office last year after multiple women continued to come out and accused him of sexual harassment. We will have to see what happens next.
James announced she would run for governor of New York a couple of months after Cuomo announced his resignation. This was a result of the released findings of an investigation that James had led into sexual harassment allegations against Cuomo. James then declared quite quickly that she would be abandoning her run for governor and would instead pursue reelection as New York’s attorney general.
James cited part of her decision to run for re-election is because she has unfinished business. She referenced one of the promises she made to the people of New York that she would investigate the Trump organization. Her investigation is still ongoing as it seems she hasn’t quite found the smoking gun she is hoping to. She and the hosts of ‘The View’ discussed this very topic in the video embedded below.
Earlier we reported on the growing tensions between Cuomo and James.
