On Wednesday, former President Donald Trump endorsed his pick for the South Carolina District 1 U.S. House seat. It was likely no surprise to many that it wasn’t U.S. Representative Nancy Mace (R) who currently holds the seat. Trump had endorsed Mace for the seat in the 2020 election. After winning the seat, Mace quickly ran to the media to talk trash about the former president.
It’s unclear what Mace expected after she made the media rounds, taking every opportunity to take digs at Trump. It appears she may be trying desperately to get his attention after he ‘hit’ her hard with the endorsement of her primary opponent.
Twitter user @FauxTT shared a famous clip of John Cusack from the movie ‘Say Anything’, in which Cusack is holding a boombox outside the house of a girl he wants to get the attention of. @FauxTT added, “Live footage of Nancy Mace after Trump endorses her opponent”
Mace’s video can be seen below that she captioned it, “I’m standing in front of Trump Tower with a message this morning… #SC01 #LowcountryFirst”

Spokesperson for Donald trumpLiz Harrington shared his endorsement of Katie Arrington on Twitter. The former president’s endorsement reads, “Katie Arrington is running against an absolutely terrible candidate, Congresswoman Nancy Mace, whose remarks and attitude have been devastating for her community, and not at all representative of the Republican Party to which she has been very disloyal. Katie Arrington on the other hand, is liked and respected and a true Republican. Her automobile accident a number of years ago was devastating, and made it very difficult for her to campaign after having won the primary against another terrible candidate, “Mr. Argentina.” Katie is strong on the Military, our great Vets, Law Enforcement, the Border, and will fight very hard for our under-siege Second Amendment and Lower Taxes. Katie is a wonderful woman and has my Complete and Total Endorsement!”

In our view, this is just another tell-tale classless move by the Congresswoman. We previously reported on Mace’s stress eating Twinkie video she shared on Twitter last year:
Mace is now seeking more attention in our view, posting a video that to us, doesn’t seem very becoming for a U.S. House Rep. This video is potentially even more embarrassing than some of the wine-drinking live streams posted by U.S. House Rep Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY).
In the grainy video, as you can see below, Mace is chowing down on a Twinkie, looking kind of rough. Although it was just a short clip, not long like AOC’s, it is a little embarrassing and in our view, she may actually want to take it down.
“I’m definitely eating my feelings this morning. It’s been a stressful 24 hours”, says mace, as she stuffs her face with a Twinkie.
Mace has probably had a rough time. We would never make light of someone who had their home attacked, even if they don’t like Trump. But she should probably log off Twitter.
