Disgraced Journalist Dan Rather ‘Frames’ Liz Cheney’s Primary Defeat as ‘A Loss for Wyoming, the Republican Party, and the Nation’

Disgraced journalist Dan Rather “framed” Liz Cheney’s primary defeat as “a loss for Wyoming, the Republican Party, and the nation” in a tweet prior to her conceding on Tuesday night.

Rather began, “If Liz Cheney is defeated today, as expected, I would not frame it as her losing.”

“It is a loss for Wyoming, the Republican Party, and the nation,” Rather explained.

GOP Florida Congressional candidate Lavern Spicer replied to Rather, “No Dan, it is her losing.”

Former GOP California Congressional candidate Buzz Patterson responded similarly to Spicer as he told Rather, “No, she lost. That’s the frame.”

One Twitter user, however, agreed with Rather and claimed, “Liz Cheney is the Republicans best pathway to returning credibility to the party.”

“She embodies all the values you ‘should’ want in a leader and would, ironically, be the best Presidential candidate for the party as well,” he continued.

He then added, “I’m not even a Republican and I respect her greatly.”

Act for America’s Brigitte Gabriel declared in a tweet today, “Liz Cheney is still the number 1 trend today because her loss was one of the most humiliating in US history.”

Fox News’ Tucker Carlson held a “gloatathon” during his show “Tucker Carlson Tonight” following the defeat, noting that she was “spanked hard” by Democracy.
