Former President and possible future President Donald Trump issued a heartfelt post on his own social media platform, Truth Social. He has to post there since the left leaning website called Twitter has permanently banned Trump.
Those in charge of making that decision may have thought they would silence Trump, even from being able to post heartfelt messages about the death of a loved one.
By posting to Truth however, Trump once again showed that he is a political fighter. However, with this particular post, he is showing his softer, kinder side. Although he is now married to Melania, he has been on good terms with the now late Ivana. Ivana mothered his three older children.
“A very sad day, but at the same time a celebration of a wonderful and beautiful life. I will be leaving shortly for the funeral service of Ivana. She will be laid to rest today. This will not be easy!!!”
Ivana tragically passed away accidentally after being found at the bottom of a stairway.
Donald Trump postponed an Arizona rally to mourn Ivana with his family.
Many people who do not respect or like Trump think he is a mean person. However, it is our perspective that he is a soft, kind hearted person. In politics he uses his experience as a shrewd businessman to appeal to his base and advocate on their behalf.
