The Wall Street Journal released an article Sunday written by Kristen Grind and Emily Glazer, which accuses Elon Musk of having an affair with Google Go-Founder Serge Brin’s wife. The article claims the affair is the reason Brin is divorcing his wife.
Investigations Editor for the WSJ Michael Siconolfi shared the article on Twitter with praise for the writers:
“BROKEN TIES: terrific exclusive reporting by @KirstenGrind & @EmilyGlazer; Musk ‘dropped to one knee’ to apologize to his long-time friend, in vain”
Musk had denied the claim and responded to Siconolfi’s tweet this afternoon with a picture of himself and Brin hanging out. Musk captioned the picture, “______, ______ your [pants emoji] are on [fire emoji]”

Twitter user @chicago_glenn added a meme of the article and picture with the label “Fake News” over the WSJ article.

The writers of the article don’t give any actual sources and just cite those close to the matter. This makes it really up to how much they trust their source.
In a similar incident, Insider published an article back in March claiming that Space X had made a huge settlement with a flight attendant, over alleged sexual misconduct made by Musk. The source for the whole article is an unnamed “friend” of the flight attendant.
Christopher Cardaci vice president of legal for SpaceX declined to comment on the settlement.
Currently, Musk is in a public legal battle with Twitter, after his deal to purchase Twitter and take it private soured over what Musk claims are unverifiable fake account numbers. A trial date is set and we will see if the world’s richest man ends up purchasing Twitter or what comes of the case later this year.
Another popular new revelation about the billionaire is that he fathered twins with Neuralink executive Shivon Zilis. The revelation was shared earlier this month when a motion was filed to make their last name Musk and put Zilis’s last name as part of their middle names.
Musk has many children as well as man businesses he started and is running. The media has taken a liking to report on rumors as well as any news they can find about him. He recently took a small break from social media which even spurred media coverage about him.
It seems if there isn’t much to say about the world’s richest man some will find a story where there isn’t one.
Musk clarified the picture shared is from a party the pair was at last night, he also added what he thinks of the WSJ editor Michael Siconolfi in a tweet thread seen below:
