Sunday, Elon Musk created a stir on Twitter with, “My pronouns are Prosecute/Fauci”. This sent many into a tizzy including former CIA director John Brennan who then attacked the CEO of Twitter on Twitter.
Brennan calls Fauci a “national hero” and tells Musk he has “no class”. Brennan also accuses Musk of “fueling public hate & divisions.”
Brennan tweeted in full:
“Dr. Fauci is a national hero who will be remembered for generations to come for his innate goodness & many contributions to public health Despite your business success, you will be remembered most for fueling public hate & divisions. You may have money, but you have no class.”

In a follow-up to his first tweet, Brennan appears to suggest there needs to be more censorship of free speech. Brennan is outraged by a different opinion than his. He throws out many different labels for those who share Musk’s opinion and adds “We certainly seem to have far too many of them lately.”
Good people in democracies need a more effective way to prevent attention-craving, emotionally immature, & highly devious individuals, esp those of means, from being socially, culturally, & politically destructive.

Brennan wasn’t alone in losing it over Musk’s tweet. Musk addressed them all in one tweet with, “The Branch Covidians are upset lol” on Monday.

Musk wants discussion and to provoke thought, he has argued that Twitter is a town hall and needs to be a place where the free exchange of ideas can happen, even those one wouldn’t like to see. This was his reasoning for buying Twitter. He has since exposed the censorship that Twitter claimed they did not do, as well as worked at making Twitter blue attainable for all.
Musk has brought back many who were banned for reasons that couldn’t be justified by Twitter’s Terms of Service as well as some who some would argue did.
While this has pushed some off the platform, many that are on the left of the political scale. It has also prompted many who have never had a Twitter account to create one.

Brennan and the rest of his cohort should have their security clearances pulled, then haul them into a hearing on election interference.
