Former Democrat State Rep for Georgia Vernon Jones just made a major announcement. After previously speculating about it, Jones is making his move and officially announcing he will run for Governor against RINO Brian Kemp, who fooled many people.
Vernon Jones is a major supporter of former President Trump’s, and will likely support him if he runs in 2024 for president yet again, although that decision is a long way off. He has bashed and trashed Kemp for what many think was an abandonment of Trump during the hotly controversial 2020 presidential election.
It does appear that Kemp will be running in the now swing state of Georgia for re-election as well, so things could get very interesting. Kemp is disliked by the Trump base now, but has lots of money and connections. It will be hard but not impossible to beat him, and there will be a Democrat to beat as well. That Democrat could possibly be Stacey Abrams.
We also know that Doug Collins and Herschel Walker are flirting with running against radical leftist Raphael Warnock for U.S. Senate as well, and it will be interesting to see which of the two of those float to the top in that race as well. Today Jones tweeted the official Gubernatorial race announcement, which can be seen below.
