Former President Trump Makes Appearance on Fox News Following Rush’s Death, ‘He was special’

As we previously reported this afternoon, beloved Conservative Radio host and icon Rush Limbaugh has passed away today following his long battle with cancer. Former President Trump made his first appearance on Fox News after leaving the White House as you can see in the segment below.

Former President Trump came on Fox News to talk about the passing of his dear friend Rush Limbaugh as he and Rush were good friends and Trump awarded him the Presidential Medal of Freedom award at last year’s State of the Union.

Trump commented on him giving the Presidential Medal of Freedom to Rush saying, “It was a great honor to do so when we gave the Medal of Freedom, that was something special, it was an incredible night”.

Trump gave praise to Rush stating, “Rush is irreplaceable, unique, and he had an audience that was massive, and you know he could do something, he would get up in the show, and would just talk, He wouldn’t take phone calls, where everybody would call in every two minutes, and that’s sort of easy to do. He would just talk for two hours, three hours, just talk. And that’s not an easy thing to do. I once asked him, do you study for the show? And he said, actually I study very hard, which a little bit surprised me.”

Trump and Rush were still good friends after Trump left the White House and kept in touch as explained, “Three or four days ago, I called him just to find out, his fight was very, very courageous, and he was very, very sick, and from diagnosis on, it was just something that was just not going to be beat, but you wouldn’t know it,”.

We will have to see if former President Trump does make more appearances on Fox News in the future. Our hearts go out to the family of Rush Limbaugh.
