Fox News Commentator Gianno Caldwell Vindicated Amid Lightfoot’s Loss as he Seeks Justice for his Late Brother

Fox News political analyst Gianno Caldwell thanked his hometown of Chicago for voting out Mayor Lori Lightfoot.

“Chicago, together, we defeated @LoriLightfoot. THANK YOU!”

He later added, “The @LoriLightfoot experiment is officially over. Thank you, CHICAGO.”

Removing Lightfoot became very personal for Caldwell after his brother, Christian, who was just eighteen years old was murdered in Chicago.

Caldwell share about his brother on February 20th, which would have been his 19th birthday.

“On June 24th my baby brother Christian was murdered on the Southside of Chicago. Today Christian would have made 19 years old. There is not a day that goes by that I don’t think about him. Please keep my family in your prayers. We are thankful for the love & support”

A reward was offered by the City of Chicago for information that would lead to the arrest of those who were involved in his bother death, Caldwell offered to match what the city was offering.

Caldwell kept reporting on Lori Lightfoot’s failures. He shared a clip from a segment he did earlier this week where he talked to some residents of Chicago about Lightfoot.

“Black lives don’t matter to Mayor @LoriLightfoot, Black votes do.”

Early Tuesday morning he called on Chicago to fire Lightfoot in a tweet.

“Chicago, you have seen the damage @LoriLightfoot has caused. She has been a cancer to many families who continue to lose loved ones in the city of Chicago. Today you have an opportunity to right this wrong and remove her from office. #FireLightfoot”

This morning Caldwell shared his feelings about Chicago firing Lightfoot.

“Good morning. I woke up feeling hopeful for Chicago for the first time in many years. With Lori Lightfoot out Chicago has a chance to support law enforcement, victims and put criminals behind bars. Pray for Chicago.”

It doesn’t appear that Caldwell is done fighting to bring down violent crime in his hometown. He shared a tweet aimed at Brandon Johnson who made it into the Chicago Mayoral runoff.

“Supporting defunding the police at any point in your career is disqualifying for Chicago’s Mayor.”

Johnson called “defunding the police” a political goal at one point. Johnson now seems to avoid answering questions about defunding the police when asked.

The runoff for the Mayoral race is set for April 4th, the choice now lies between democrat Paul Vallas and progressive Brandon Johnson.
