Geraldo Blasts Lori Lightfoot, Implies that No Matter What Race Reporter She Gets, They Will All Ask About Chicago’s Violent Crime Problems

Geraldo Rivera is hardly a reliable source for anyone, and his next opinion on pretty much anything is really anyone’s guess. Recently he took flak from Fox New’s talking heads for suggesting the United States stop funding conflict in the Middle East, on both sides (Israel and Palestine).

Geraldo has also been on both the right and wrong sides of former President Donald Trump on various occasions. Many have stopped taking him seriously over the years. We assume some, still do value his opinions though. Even when someone is often on the wrong side of your opinions though, they say a “broken clock is right twice a day”. That may well be the case with Geraldo here with this story.

We have well documented the recent situation with Chicago, Illinois’ Mayor, Lori Lightfoot. From her alleged anti-White racism to the local police in Chicago turning on her, she has not been doing well lately. Now it is being reported that violent crime is continuing to percolate in Chicago as well, and Lightfoot has the hits continuing to come.

Geraldo in particular apparently sought out to make a couple of different points in one with a recent tweet, mentioning how Lightfoot only wants interviews with non-White journalists, and also how she’s basically not doing a great job at being mayor. Rivera tweeted:

#Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot @chicagosmayor only wants to speak with Black or Latino reporters. Trust me, they will ask mayor about the 11 killed in Chicago this weekend, and the 48 shot-almost All Black Men. Don’t forget 2 year old killed last weekend. 11 killed this weekend.”

Someone jokingly suggested Rivera run for Lightfoot’s seat, to which he declined:

“Thanks but no thanks. Love Chicago but I live in Cleveland, which has its own challenges.”

Time will tell if Lightfoot, responds, resigns, or continues to blow around in the wind like a wayward tumbleweed instead, which is sadly, quite possible. Stay tuned for more updates from Media Right News.
