Greg Gutfeld Laments Joy Reid Reportedly Losing 7 P.M. MSNBC Show: ‘There Goes a Third of My Material’

It has been reported by journalist Jon Nicosia that a “source” at Comcast told him that “Joy Reid will lose her 7p show in the next round of reshuffling at MSNBC.”

“She does not have a show come mid Spring,” Nicosia reported and that the “decision has been made, the only thing left is messaging on the move, which will be ratings.”

Fox News’ Greg Gutfeld lamented the news in a quote tweet of Nicosia where he declared, “sh*t…there goes a third of my material.”

“First Chris Cuomo, now Joy Reid….if I lose don lemon, I may have to report on actual stories!!” Gutfeld declared, clearly flummoxed by the possibility.

Nicosia also referenced the former CNN primetime host in a reply to his tweet where he noted, “As was the case with Chris Cuomo at CNN, Reid has allies at Comcast, however, she is now viewed as ‘unmanageable’ by many.”

“Also, similar to Cuomo, it appears those allies have found out she has been ‘less than truthful about past incidents,'” Nicosia revealed.

In an additional reply, Nicosia added, “Also, like Cuomo at CNN. Watch for MSNBC/Comcast to defend her right until the announcement.”

The report caused Joy Reid to trend on Twitter, with most conservatives celebrating the news, although it’s not like Gutfeld’s response was particularly serious.

Tim Young pointed out the timing of the report and said in a tweet, “Joy Reid losing her show on January 6 is just… **chef’s kiss**”

Author Nick Adams announced in a tweet, “Miserable woman Joy Reid is being FIRED by MSNBC!”

In November, we reported that Reid’s time at the network could perhaps be running out:
