After Calling for Mass Twitter Exodus for Personal Account Ban, MTG Starts Tweeting on Official Account Instead

Following the ban of her personal Twitter account, Republican Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) has begun to tweet on her Congressional account instead.

She appeared to take a two-week break from tweeting on the account, but after her ban, she was silent on Twitter until January 6th, where she tweeted about the riot.

“When Democrats and their spokesmen in the media claim January 6th was one of the worst attacks in American history, they are lying. Here’s the truth.”

“TUNE IN NOW!”

“With what we are seeing with the J6 investigation, I can tell you I don’t trust our government.”

Although these are just a few tweets, in the same week, she urged her Republican colleagues and constituents to leave Twitter to escape the alleged censorship and join alternative platforms like Gettr (which has ironically censored conservatives while claiming to be a free-speech platform) and Gab.

Now she has made a return to the platform, some may say she may have been misguided by deep-state political consultants in order to subvert the Twitter exodus movement.

We will have to see if she continues to tweet or not as she may have just gone on the platform for January 6th in order to share her content from the press conference which she and Republican Congressman Matt Gaetz (FL) held Thursday morning. Greene has over 400,000 followers on her Twitter congressional account and had even more on her personal account which she did most of her tweeting from before her ban.

Following former President Donald Trump urging his supporters to also leave Twitter as the anniversary of his ban approaches, the Twitter stock price has plummeted due to a lack of profits. Whether Republicans choose to stay on the “platform” or not, time may be ticking for some conservatives as censorship has increased on the site.
