‘I Refuse to Believe We Are This Indecent as People’ Eric Swalwell Condemns ‘Let’s Go Brandon’ NORAD Phone Call

U.S. House Rep Eric Swalwell (D-CA) was not a fan of the viral “Let’s go Brandon” NORAD phone call that took place with the Bidens.

In a quote tweet of a report from CNN’s Jeremy Diamond, Swalwell condemned the prank and declared, “I refuse to believe we are this indecent as people. Not on Christmas Eve.”

“And not to a person who lost his wife and daughter at Christmastime. We are better than this. Be kind and #MerryChristmas,” Swalwell insisted.

While Swalwell may not have been a fan of the prank, a couple of Republican representatives found the prank amusing.

U.S. House Rep Lauren Boebert (R-CO) mocked Biden for the apparent lack of situational awareness.

“Tell me you don’t know they’re laughing at you without telling me you don’t know they’re laughing at you,” Boebert said in a quote tweet of the Amy Tarkanian’s posting of the video.

U.S. House Rep Paul Gosar (R-AZ) also weighed in by sharing the video on Gab and noting, “I finally agree with Joe Biden on something: Let’s Go Brandon. Merry Christmas Eve!”

As we previously reported:

Video footage of the father who was at the other end of the now viral NORAD phone call that ended with him using the phrase “Let’s go Brandon” has now found it’s way to the internet.

Conservative journalist Jack Posobiac tweeted out the footage which shows the dad with the phone on speaker talking to the Bidens.

The father identified himself as “Jared” from Oregon and apparently hung up after using the phrase, so he never heard Biden asking him, “By the way, are you in Oregon?”
