‘It’s Like They’re Trying to Fail’ Chad Wolf Slams Biden Admin’s Attempt to Once Again End the ‘Remain in Mexico’ Policy

On Wednesday, it was announced that the Biden Administration was once again going to attempt to cancel the Trump-era “Remain in Mexico” policy, also known as the MPP, which it was supposed to be reinstating.

Former acting DHS Secretary Chad Wolf weighed in on the situation and slammed the Biden Administration for trying an end around after the Supreme Court already ordered it restarted.

Wolf quote tweeted the announcement from Homeland Security and declared, “This is unreal.”

“DHS is focused on terminating the Remain in Mexico program AGAIN – after the courts told them to restart the program and despite its effectiveness,” Wolf explained.

Wolf added, “It’s like they are trying to fail.”

U.S. House Rep Young Kim (R-CA) also commented on the situation today in a tweet where she shared a Politico article about the news.

Kim offered a testimonial about the situation and said, “Border patrol in CA & in TX made clear to me that the administration’s change in policy worsened the border crisis.”

“MPP would lower the number of border crossings while ensuring that migrants with valid asylum claims can safely come here,” Kim asserted.

Last month, we reported:

Two weeks ago, we reported that the Supreme Court of the United States ruled that President Joe Biden and his regime could not abandon the Trump era “Remain in Mexico” policy, which Biden had rescinded with an Executive Order on day one in office.

Despite that order, CBS News reported today that DHS confirmed it has yet to return asylum-seekers to Mexico under the rule.

They did report, however, that the department’s policy office has been working on logistical plans to facilitate its “expeditious reimplementation,” including cost estimates.
