Jay Leno was taken to a burn center on Sunday after one of his cars erupted into flames. He suffered serious burns to the left side of his face.
Leno has canceled all of his engagements for this week including an appearance at The Financial Brand conference this Sunday. It was announced that he had suffered a “very serious medical emergency”.
Today Leno gave a statement sharing, “I got some serious burns from a gasoline fire. I am ok. Just need a week or two to get back on my feet.”
TMZ reported on his hospitalization after a fire erupted in his Los Angeles car garage.
From Leno’s statement, it appears that he will likely recover quickly from the incident.
Leno is known for being a car enthusiast, he has quite a collection of cars and also has a show that airs on CNBC.
