Joe Biden Offers Keen Insight on How People Will Beat Inflation: ’You’re Going to see People not Buying Kellogg’s Raisin Bran You’re Going to see Them Buying Other Raisin Bran’

Friday Joe Biden shares how he believes the American people will tackle inflation on their grocery bill.

Clay Travis shared a clip from an interview Biden did, discussing inflation issues for the American family.

Biden shares, “By the way, the main driver in food prices is the price of beef and eggs, etc. while they are up, Its packaged goods. You’re going to see people not buying Kellog’s Raisin Bran, you’re going to see them buying other raisin bran. Which is going to be a dollar cheaper. So what’s happening is real movement.”

Travis captioned the video with:

“People can’t afford “name brand” cereal so they should just buy generic cereal is really Joe Biden’s answer to inflation issues for America’s families. Red tsunami coming.”

According to an article by Fox 11, people are outright skipping meals to fight the cost of inflation at the supermarket, not just buying generic as the president suggests. Although he is probably right that people are opting for the generic as their budget is in part being eaten up by inflation.

A survey by debthammer.org shows that 10% of people are skipping meals in order to help cut back.

More than 40% of adults in Ohio expressing they have skipped meals because of inflation. In Virginia, 2 million people have skipped meals reported to be a 40-year high.

As of August, 9% of families have turned to get help from food banks.

Close to half of the country or 43% of people are still making the same amount as they were before inflation started rising. Many are falling behind on bills as well.

This is a real issue affecting many across the country, it almost seems that is falling on deaf ears. Biden assured reporters while stumping in Oregon that he isn’t worried about our economy because as he put it, “It’s strong as hell”.

Times are tuff for many, and with the midterms rapidly approaching it appears a referendum on those in charge may be afoot.
