Joe Biden Responds After Major Blow Dealt to his Travel Mask Mandate by Federal Judge: Agencies are Reviewing the Decision

Today after a Trump-appointed Federal judge struck down Biden’s travel mask mandate, his administration has finally released a statement.

“The agencies are reviewing the decision and assessing potential next steps. In the meantime, today’s court decision means CDC’s public transportation masking order is not in effect at this time. Therefore, TSA will not enforce its Security Directives and Emergency Amendment requiring mask use on public transportation and transportation hubs at this time. CDC recommends that people continue to wear masks in indoor public transportation settings.”

From the statement issued by the Biden administration, it seems they are looking at their options in the next step. As for TSA, it will no longer be enforcing the Security Directive and Emergency Amendment. This is a win for health freedom as many see it.

By no surprise, the CDC is still recommending that people continue to wear masks in indoor public transportation settings.

We reported earlier on the decision to strike down the mask mandate:

Today, Trump-appointed Judge Kathryn Kimball Mizelle struck down the CDC mask mandate for airplanes and other public transportation.

Judge Mizelle declared the mandate unlawful because it exceeded the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s statutory authority and because its implementation violated administrative law in the 59-page decision.

The CDC had just extended the mask mandate last week, April 13th, through May 3rd. The mask mandate has been in place since 2020.

Many are happy to see the mask mandate lifted, travel and work seem to be getting back to something of “normal”.
