Actor Jon Voight took to Facebook to defend Rudy Giuliani after he was suspended from practicing law in New York last week. Voight attacked the Leftists that he believes have corrupted the city of New York and seek to undermine Rudy Giuliani’s work, saying, “my friends, my fellow Americans, Mayor Giuliani, one of the greatest mayors of New York City, a city that was once the greatest city, now has become like the Left, a polluted deceit. How dare they suspend his license for defending truths? How dare they justify this horrible sin against this human soul of righteousness?”
Voight continued, saying, Giuliani is “a man who had everyone’s trust! A man who held his city with dignity! A man who fought for truths and all the while having to battle disgraceful lies and unrighteousness! And what does he get? He gets suspended for speaking truths!”
The actor sent an inspiring message to Giuliani and Trump supporters like himself: “Well let me tell you something – enough is enough with these sick lies against the righteous who sacrifice their levels for the American people. President Trump and Mayor Giuliani are two men who fought for their country. We as a nation will stand up for these men, heroes of the United States of America because my friends God is our witness and he will show who’s boss… Pray for justice and truth!”
Voight’s video fired up supporters in his comment section. One follower of Voight commented “it’s so refreshing to hear the raw truth that we all need to be telling to this mixed up liberal world.” Another praised Voight’s courage, saying, “Thank you Mr. Voight for speaking out. So many people are afraid to tell the truth about the corrupt Democratic Party. Keep doing this for our country. We want to save and preserve this Nation the way our forefathers established it under the. Constitution.”
We reported on Giuliani’s loss of his law license in New York earlier:
“A New York appellate court has dealt a harsh blow to former President Donald Trump’s ally and former NYC Mayor Rudy Giuliani. The court decided to suspend Giuliani’s law license after finding that he made ‘demonstrably false and misleading’ statements about last year’s election while serving as former President Donald Trump’s attorney.
The court released their decision with a 33-page document that can be accessed here. The court panel reported to the public:
‘We conclude that there is uncontroverted evidence that respondent communicated demonstrably false and misleading statements to courts, lawmakers and the public at large in his capacity as lawyer for former President Donald J. Trump and the Trump campaign in connection with Trump’s failed effort at reelection in 2020.‘
The ruling continued: ‘These false statements were made to improperly bolster respondent’s narrative that due to widespread voter fraud, victory in the 2020 United States presidential election was stolen from his client. We conclude that respondent’s conduct immediately threatens the public interest and warrants interim suspension from the practice of law, pending further proceedings before the Attorney Grievance Committee.’”
