U.S. Attorney Jonathan Turley went after the three liberal justices who dissented on the recent Supreme Court OSHA ruling (6-3) which blocked the Biden Administrations’ vaccine mandate.

Turley went on Fox News Thursday afternoon following the ruling saying, “What I think they are gonna get some pushback on is that all three justices made statements about the pandemic that were heavily criticized in terms of their factual understanding of where we are in terms of cases and the virus. And of course Justice Sotomayer was the one who was most criticized for giving a number that was 20-30 times higher in terms of the impact on children.” He went on to say that he believes those statements undermined the three justices to an extent.
He continued, “These are three justices that have always been highly deferential to agencies, they are big supporters of a thing called the Chevron Doctrine. And so this is consistent, this is not activism, this goes to the heart of their view of jurist prudence. They believe strongly that you should defer to federal agencies.”
This comes as we previously reported, “In a 6-3 vote, the Supreme Court blocked the Biden administration’s workplace vaccine mandate today, dealing a blow to the liberal agenda. Clay Travis called the news a ‘Huge win for federalism and the constitutional rule of law in this country.’
The Supreme Court said in their opinion that they disagreed with The Sixth Circuit Court’s conclusion ‘that a stay of the rule was not justified.’ “
Many unvaccinated workers will see this as a win as some of them have been on the verge of being fired for their refusal to get vaccinated and in some cases, thousands of people across the country have already been fired for refusing to get vaccinated. While some speculated the inconsistent Supreme Court could potentially rule with the Biden Administration due to the fact that this mandate still gives a testing option for the unvaccinated, the Supreme Court handly ruled against them.
As State Senator Wendy Rogers (R-AZ) suggested, some fired unvaccinated workers could be suing these large corporations for enforcing these, now struct down, mandates. We will have to see how the Biden Administration responds as this is a big blow to them.
Appeals are certain to come as many Democrats seem determined to mandate the vaccine for as many people as they can making the lives of the unvaccinated extremely difficult.
