Juanita Broaddrick Wants Answers as SCOTUS Leaker Search Drags On, Asks if Justice Roberts is ’Protecting’ Someone

Juanita Broaddrick wants to know what is going on with the investigation into the Supreme Court leak of a draft opinion. In May, about a month before the final decision of Dobbs Vs. Jackson’s Women’s Health was released, a draft opinion was published by Politico.

The U.S. Supreme Court confirmed shortly after the release that the opinion was indeed genuine.

The draft opinion did reflect the actual opinion which overturned Roe Vs. Wade and Casey, previous Supreme Court cases that granted access to individuals who wanted abortions.

Broaddrick shared on Truth Social, “Who is Chief Justice Roberts protecting? It’s been over 2 months since the leak.” We are not necessarily agreeing with Broaddrick, but simply reporting on her opinion. See post:

The Supreme Court isn’t very large compared to the other branches of government. Chief Justice Roberts initiated the investigation into who released the draft opinion, he also called the leak a “betrayal of the confidences of the Court”.

He continued, “This was a singular and egregious breach of that trust that is an affront to the Court and the community of public servants who work here.” He added that he had directed the Supreme Court marshal to investigate the leak.

Leaks from the Supreme Court are extremely rare. Hours before the Roe decision was officially released it was leaked to the press.

The Supreme Court marshal is in charge of the investigation into the leak, which is quite the departure from the general duties of the marshal who normally handles the security of the Supreme Court as well as for the Justices.

Col. Gail Curley, a former military lawyer, is the current Supreme Court marshal and has served in the position since 2021. The formal description of her duties read as “chief security officer, facilities administrator, and contracting executive.”

According to Fox News sources, there are approximately 70 people who would have had access to the draft opinion. The justices, as well as their law clerks who serve one term which ends in mid-July. The law clerks were asked to turn in their cellphones previously.

With no deadline set for the investigation, there is no telling how long this could take, let alone if we will ever get answers. This had led many including Broaddrick to question if there is something that the public doesn’t know, have they figured out who the leaker was, and are protecting them?

There was speculation that one of the liberal justices on the court “okayed” a law clerk to release the draft opinion as well as other theories.

The leaked draft sparked outrage from many on the left. Many protests were held after the leaked draft opinion and have only continued since the final decision was released.

Justice Alito authored the main opinion which was leaked. Justice Thomas also wrote his own opinion which was released on the day of the decision which also lead to more outrage, as he called for other decisions which were not based on the constitution in his view, to be looked at as well.

Much of the country waits to see who the leaker was. Some who wish to praise them and others find what they did horribly appalling. Left wing threats came of this and we condemn all violence and threats.
