Previously, we reported that Kathy Griffin was using her deceased mother’s Twitter to evade a Twitter suspension. The suspension was for impersonating Elon Musk.
Griffin has now turned her mother’s account into another Elon Musk impersonation account. There was speculation, based on some of Musk’s tweets that Griffin may get another chance at coming back to Twitter, (“for $8”).
However, she appears to be committing the same offense. The only difference is that the other account doesn’t have a “blue check”. See screenshot of the account bio:
Here’s one of many tweets on the feed:
“I’m using my beloved mothers account. PS my IG and Facebook have also been hacked. Please remember. Today it’s me, tomorrow it will be you. Can any high profile onliners please amplify this for me?”
Many called Musk a hypocrite for banning Griffin since he supports free speech. Others pointed out that she clearly broke the rules.
In our view it seems like Griffin pushed her luck to see what would happen and got what she asked for. Time will tell what happens now with this most recent plot twist.
