Kayleigh McEnany Calls Biden Admin ‘a Sad, Tragic Mess’ After Gen. Admits That Drone Strike Killed Mostly Children and No Terrorists

A press conference today with U.S. CENTCOM Commander Kenneth McKenzie confirmed what had been previously reported, that a drone strike in Afghanistan killed mostly children and no terrorist.

The Department of Defense reported “that as many as 10 civilians, including up to seven children, were tragically killed,” amid the drone strike in Kabul.

McKenzie apologized, gave his condolences to those impacted, and declared that he was “fully responsible for this strike and this tragic outcome.”

Fox News’ Kayleigh McEnany was disturbed by the news and lashed out at the Biden Administration in a tweet for the failure.

McEnany called the situation “Unbelievable” and stated that she believes, “The Biden administration is a sad, tragic mess and an utter embarrassment on the world stage!”

McKenzie explained at the press conference that “At the time of the strike, based upon all the intelligence and what was being reported, I was confident that the strike had averted an imminent threat to our forces at the airport.”

“Based upon that assessment I and other leaders in the department repeatedly asserted the validity of this strike,” McKenzie added.

U.S. Sen Ted Cruz (R-TX) also weighed in on the situation and declared, “The Biden Afghanistan catastrophe keeps getting worse.”

Cruz then pointed out, “This raises two obvious Qs: Did the Taliban provide the faulty ‘intel’ that led to the Biden admin killing 10 innocent civilians, including 7 children? If so, why did Biden trust the Taliban?”

Following the drone strike, National Security advisor Jake Sullivan claimed that the drone strike had disrupted any further ISIS-K attacks and that the individuals taken out where part of their network.
