Kellyanne Conway Steps Away From White House After Daughter is ‘Devastated’ By RNC Speaking Appearance

After it was revealed that Kellyanne Conway was set to speak at the Republican National Convention this week, her daughter Claudia Conway took to Twitter to express her disdain.

“I’m devasted that my mother is actually speaking at the RNC. Like DEVASTATED beyond compare” she opined. She followed that up by saying, “I’m officially pushing for emancipation. Buckle up because this is probably going to be public one way or another, unfortunately. Welcome to my life.”

In another tweet, she claimed that her “mother’s job ruined” her “life to begin with. Heartbreaking that she continues to go down that path after years of watching her children suffer. Selfish. It’s all about money and fame, ladies and gentlemen.”

Kellyanne clearly took those words to heart as well as her husband George Conway, who has been involved in the Lincoln project, as both announced that they were stepping away from their positions to focus on their family.

Kellyanne said that she was leaving the White House “gratefully and humbly.” George said he’ll be “withdrawing from Project Lincoln to devote more time to family matters. And I’ll be taking a Twitter hiatus. Needless to say, I continue to support the Lincoln Project and its mission. Passionately.”

Claudia mentioned George as well, saying that “as for my dad, politically, we agree on absolutely nothing. We just both happen to have common sense when it comes to our current president. Stop “stanning” him.”

Today, Claudia claimed that people “love to twist everything.” She then said that she’s “not getting emancipated because of my mom’s job.. it is because of years of childhood trauma and abuse.”

Kellyanne had recently appeared on Fox News to discuss the DNC and the administration’s response to the Coronavirus as well as what to expect from President Trump at the Republican National Convention.
