Lauren Boebert Signs With Others to Demand AOC Apologize to Ted Cruz for ‘Attempted Murder Accusation’

Freshmen GOP Congresswomen Lauren Boebert (R-CO) signed on to a letter with other GOP colleagues that called for Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) to call for an apology from AOC (D-NY) after she accused Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) of trying to get her murdered last week. Rep. Boebert signs on to the letter with five other GOP colleagues.

As we previously reported, Republican Congressman Chip Roy (R-TX) sent a letter to Nancy Pelosi a few days ago calling for her to demand AOC apologize to Ted Cruz following her saying he tried to have her murdered. Below is her tweet for more context.

As you can see Cruz was agreeing with AOC when she tweeted out that there needs to be a hearing on the company Robinhood following the blocking of customers from buying multiple stocks which shot up last week which was linked to a Reddit group. Cruz seemed to have been trying to make peace with AOC however, she refused to do the same as she holds hatred for Cruz. This all while Joe Biden calls for unity.

Democrats are calling any members of Congress who objected to the electoral votes on January 6th “murders” and “insurrectionist” such as Ted Cruz and Josh Hawley. Rep. Lauren Boebert, who objected to the electoral college votes and has faced controversy for signing on to the letter initially issued by Chip Roy to Speaker Pelosi.

We will have to see if any other GOP Congressmen sign onto the letter and if Nancy Pelosi does request AOC apologize to fulfill their proposals of unity. If not, it seems members of Congress will continue to hold hatred towards those on the other side of the aisle. When you accuse someone of trying to murder you or get you murdered, it is a very serious charge, not one that will bring unity.
