LeBron James Called Out After Complaining About Blue Check Loss Impending, ‘If China Told You… You Would’

LeBron James took to Twitter to complain about the impending loss of his blue checkmark.

“Welp guess my blue [checkmark emoji] will be gone soon cause if you know me I ain’t paying the 5. [shrug emoji]”

James’s comment was met with backlash as the cost to keep his blue checkmark seems quite minimal to most. Many celebrities and other individuals who were granted a blue checkmark before Elon Musk took over feel that they are owed the blue checkmark.

Tim Young replied to James, “If China told you to bend over and take it for a blue [checkmark emoji] you would.”

James isn’t alone in ranting against the new structure for the blue checkmark. Many others have complained including the actor who played George Costanza on the show “Seinfeld” and many others.

Musk has shared that he is only making the blue checkmark attainable for all. This change had clearly enraged those who thought them selves of a different ilk than the common man.

With this and other changes, Musk has made he is getting close to the platform he envisioned when he set out to buy the social media giant. Bringing Twitter close to being a free-speech town hall for the exchange of ideas.
