Fox News contributor and civil rights attorney Leo Terrell laid into Democratic leadership after the events that occurred in Atlanta, Georgia tonight.
While the Mayor of Georgia appeared on CBS News this morning and called the riots “domestic terrorism,” neither Democratic senator from the state has issued a tweet or press release.
Terrell declared in the tweet, “City of Atlanta is on fire and the silence is deafening from Democratic leadership.”

As Fox News reported, CNN and ABC News coverage of the Atlanta riots received backlash online after attempting to downplay the situation.
A CNN guest, author David Peisner, claimed that the only violence taking place in the fiery uproar in Atlanta was being instigated by the police.
ABC News reported in a tweet that “Six people were arrested after a peaceful protest over a proposed police training ground turned violent in Atlanta,” according to police.
The tweet also included a video that showed a police vehicle being set on fire in the downtown area of the city.
Conservative radio host Tim Young responded to the tweet, “Fact Check: False. It was never a ‘peaceful protest.'”
