Megyn Kelly Drops the Hammer on Don Lemon over Spat with CNN Co-Host, Would Have Had Him ‘Fired’

Megyn Kelly didn’t hold back when discussing the tantrum that Don Lemon reportedly had with his CNN co-host Kaitlan Collins in December.

Kelly insisted on her Sirius XM podcast that she would have had Lemon “fired” if he had ever screamed at her like that.

After watching the clip that ultimately reportedly led to the spat between Lemon and Collins, Kelly said, “It’s all about servicing the audience if you’re a professional. If you’re a douchebag, you scream at the woman next to you and blame it on her.”

“If somebody ever screamed at me to the point where I was visibly upset and ran out of the studio, I would have that person fired. I would make sure that person was fired,” Kelly insisted.

Additionally, Kelly speculated she didn’t think it was the first time that Lemon has behaved that way and that if the New York Post dug further, they could likely find more potential victims.

“If that is true, the New York Post‘s report, Jesse, then I will say that’s not the first time he’s done it. I will go out on a limb right now and tell you: that’s not the first time,” Kelly insisted.

Kelly added, “There will be another woman, if the New York Post digs, who he’s co-anchored with, I guarantee you, who’s going to come out and say ‘Me Too.'”

In regard to her experiences in the past, Kelly said, “Again, I’ve co-hosted more hours than I can count with a lot of guys with big egos, appropriately big egos.”

“And never, never has, have I screamed at a colleague after like a co-host or had him scream at me? We’ve had charged disagreements. Had a charged disagreement with Chris Wallace one time. We’re never screaming at each other, and you pick it up right after,” Kelly explained.

Kelly also pointed out how dismal the ratings have been for the show, regularly receiving less than one-third as many viewers as Fox News’ “Fox & Friends.”

  1. She should have just kicked Lemon’s wimpy *ss. He’s a democrat male. They are disgustingly weak.

  2. What do you expect from a drama queen?

  3. Very unprofessional on his part maybe he either wants to be fired to save his life or he wants her gone and a black commentator instead. The powers that be will determine who to keep, the one they think brings in the most viewers, the other is toast

  4. Who cares what Megyn Kelly says? She’s dug her own professional grave. Why does this sight and others keep trying to resurrect her? While a broken clock is still correct twice a day, that doesn’t make it poignant.

    1. don’t believe this was an attempt to be “poignant”. You might want to look that word up I don’t think it means what you think it does. As for who cares? Apparently you do! If you didn’t care about her why would you care if her career is resurrected or not? Instead of the mataphor of the broken clock you might want to internalize how you can’t justify bad behavior by pointing to other bad behavior.
