Megyn Kelly Says Reported Fox News Shuffle Potentially Putting Sean Hannity in Carlson’s Spot Not Likely to Appease Viewers who Want Tucker Back

Former Fox News reporter Megyn Kelly addressed the Drudge Report claim that Sean Hannity will be moving to the 8 PM prime time spot on Fox News that used to host Tucker Carlson.

Kelly delivered the news to the listeners of her Sirius XM show. “They [Fox News] have decided on what to do about their hemorrhaging 8 PM hour formerly occupied by Tucker Carlson, that they will be moving Sean Hannity currently at nine into the eight o’clock slot.”

She continued, “And that they will then keep Jesse Waters in the Prime Time which I believe means he’ll move to either nine or ten as opposed to staying at seven. And that Greg Gutfeld will also head to Prime Time. Greg Gutfeld is not at eleven, that’s not really considered Prime. Prime is really eight, nine, and ten. So presumably they’re talking about moving him.”

“If that’s true, one wonders what’s happening to Laura Ingram who’s currently at 10,” Kelly wondered.

Kelly then explained that Mediate has reached out to Fox News who relayed that no official decisions have actually been made. Kelly shared that Drudge “always has the leaks on the line of changes there”. She went on reminding viewers how Drudge broke the news about her move to Prime Time at Fox News and that she would be “surprised if he were wrong.”

Kelly expressed that she doesn’t think this will be the move that is needed to bring back viewership. “They need a voice like Tucker’s,” Kelly stated. “Hannity is not the answer at eight. He’s not the answer at eight he hasn’t been the answer at nine lately since Tucker left.” She explained that ratings are hemorrhaging at both the eight and nine o’clock hours.

Fox News is still scrambling to figure out its ratings issue. The alleged solution doesn’t sound too good to Megyn Kelly.

  1. Hannity is a pompous bore

    1. LOL! Hannity has been bloviating the same old things for years. Not very bright and people are tired of his BFF and waste of time, Lindsey Graham.

      1. This is a last gasp/hail Mary for Faux News. Mayday!!! Mayday!!!! Going down…

      2. Hannity is a phoney.
And stuck in the 90’s with his 90’s guests and tired, worn out schtick. Fox should just get out of libtard news.

  2. Tucker bumped Hannity out of that spot when he first came on. Hannity going back there now is a humiliation for him.

  3. They probably would be better off putting Gutfeld there. Hannity is like that White Castle slider I ate. It just keeps on repeating and repeating. Either way, won’t be watching.

  4. Hannity has been pacified, he is no longer a Conservative voice, he is an establishment guy and has been since at least when the GREAT Rush Limbaugh died. Rush would be so disappointed in Hannity these days. Tucker was the voice of Truth and sanity so the Murdocks couldn’t allow him to continue, the Murdock boys hate the truth. FOX has become FAUX and are done, even more would leave them if cable wasn’t so corrupt and other networks like OANN and NewsMax were available to them.

    1. I used to hate it when lefties (morons. imbeciles.) would call it “FAUX News.” Now? It certainly fits. They are the “FAUX” Conservative network. The controlled, RINO establishment opposition for the UniParty. I’m done with TV news. There are far better true Conservative sources that actually are way more informative and less irritating (though Mediaright is not one of them .. go look at the story about Targay where they refer to Dylan Mulvaney as a SHE)

  5. Fox, Fox, Fox, Fox..{sigh} you just won’t learn, will you? You are either dangerously naive or colossally moronic.

  6. I like Hannity.

Tucker is a generational talent though. His research/team, delivery and exposure of what is important to Americans is spot on.
Tucker takes no prisoners; no one gets a pass.

    1. Pleh, Tucker has good producers, for sure, but it took him a VERY long time to become a visual talent. I remember how cringey and awkward he was on camera in the beginning. Most of us never get the chance to “grow into a $20M/Year” job when we apply for the job with as little skill as Tucker demonstrated on day 1. I wish him well, but I don’t feel sorry for him losing a job he never should have been hired for in the first place, that is, if life were “fair.”

  7. Hannity is the official spokesman for the Military Industrial Complex. Well, and he’s the retired official spokesman for the (now, mostly forgotten, thank God) Bush Family.

  8. Hannity is controlled opposition and a shill for Israel. He is a gatekeeper who will always say what he is told to say.

  9. Regarding anything she says, so what?
She showed her colors long ago.
As far as hannity, his act was old 10 minutes after it started.

  10. Shammity is a Bushie RINO. He is also impossible to watch! He repeats the SAME canned 20-minute monologue (“when the dog bites, when the bee stings, blah blah blah) EVERY. FREAKING. NIGHT!! I used to tune in because of the guests he had on but Shammity starts his 5-minute wind-up to a question (loaded with his caned talking points) and by the time they get to answer the go-to-commercial music has started and he has to butt in and stop them. INTOLERABLE! FAUX’s stable that they have left aren’t worth watching! No doubt they’ll go HARD CORE DeSanctimonious (who needs to serve out his term as Governor!!).
